Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light. Full sun can cause the leaves to burn.
Water
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out half way down between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light. Calathea varieties tend to do better with distilled water and can be sensitive to unfiltered tap water. Drain well after watering.
Humidity
Does better in higher humidity if possible. A great plant for bathrooms/showers.
Precautions
This plant is pet-friendly! But the best practice is always to keep houseplants out of reach of small children and curious pets.
