Sunlight

Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can easily tolerate low indirect light. Avoid spots that have direct sun and this can scorch the leaves.

Water

Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and much less often in lower light.

Humidity

Enjoys moderate to high humidity.

Precautions 

This is generally a very easy going plant and non-toxic! But the best practice is always to keep houseplants out of reach of small children and curious pets.

Additional Information: Jewel Orchids are generally slow growers but fertilizer can help aid in new growth during Spring and Summer months. Large flowering spikes shoot out of tops of the plant stems in Autumn / Fall and Winter. Providing good light and correct care has been received during the growing season. Trim off finished flower spikes and repot only if the plant becomes overcrowded or top heavy.
