We're so excited to host a workshop that will also give back a little. A portion of the proceeds will go to Red Door Shelter which provides emergency shelter and support for women and children affected by domestic abuse, families experiencing a housing crisis, and refugee claimants with nowhere else to turn. This workshop will provide step-by-step guidance on how to design a beautiful floral arrangement in a keepsake vase. We will be using flowers in IWD-inspired colours; think beautiful spring lavender, purple, yellow and creams!
The focus of this workshop is to enhance basic floral skills or challenge yourself if you're a total beginner! This class is open to all skill levels. You will learn how to design in a vase using foam-free mechanics.
Join owner and creative director, Deanna, for an evening of flower arranging and flower talk. She will design alongside you, offer tips, basic rules and when to break them as well as touch on seasonality and her process for design. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
This in person workshop takes place at the shop located at 540 Annette Street from 4:30-6:30 pm on Sunday March 9. Select pickup at checkout and choose any date/time.
